Port Wemyss is a very picturesque planned village on the Rhinns of Islay and a close neighbour of Portnahaven. The white washed cottages are beautifully situated at the peaceful shoreside.

The Isle of Orsay with the Rhinns of Islay Lighthouse is located opposite the narrow channel with its strong currents.
